Our Process –

Welcome to Forever Country Puppies

1. See a puppy you love?
If a puppy shows a price beneath their picture, that little one is available and ready to meet you.

2. Secure your new pup with a deposit
Click “Place Deposit NOW!” or fill out our Contact Us form to begin the journey. As soon as your deposit is placed, you'll receive an email confirmation to let you know it's all set.

3. What comes next?
Once your deposit is received, we’ll send a follow-up email with details on what to expect soon—like tips on food, supplies, and upcoming milestones.

4. Let’s get talking
If we haven’t already connected via phone, text, or email, our team will reach out—just to say hi, answer any questions, and get to know you better. Occasionally, we may feel a puppy isn’t the best fit. If that happens, your deposit will be refunded in full.

5. Puppy availability & upcoming litters
Deposits are accepted only when a puppy is listed on the site (usually between 3 to 6 weeks old) and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have your eye on an upcoming litter, let us know—we can give you a heads-up when pups go live. To stay in the loop, join our mailing list for birth announcements and listings.

6. Deposit terms

While deposits are non-refundable, they are transferable. If something changes, feel free to roll your deposit into a future litter.

7. Baby steps of puppyhood

Sneak peeks: When puppies arrive (usually within 2 weeks), you’ll receive birth announcements and early photos.
Photo & video updates: We’ll share new individual photos and videos as soon as we can—and notify you by email.

8. Virtual bonding time
Before pick-up, you’ll have the opportunity to Zoom with your puppy—ask questions, get to know them, and prepare for life together. We try to schedule sessions between 1:00–2:30 pm or 5:00–7:00 pm on weekdays. Just let us know what works for you!

9. Keep in touch
We aim to send at least two updates (photos or videos) during your puppy’s early weeks. If we're running a bit behind, please be patient—we’re busy caring for your future furry family member!

10. Puppy checklist
Upon placing your deposit, you’ll get our “New Puppy Checklist,” full of tips on what to prepare before your pup comes home.

11. Health is our priority
Before they leave us, puppies receive:

Multiple de-worming treatments
A vet exam including a fecal check
Their first vaccinations—Neopar (parvo) and DAPPv (distemper/adenovirus/parvo) by 8 weeks of age

12. Pick-up details
Puppies typically go home at 8 weeks, though some smaller breeds may stay until 12 weeks to ensure they’re fully ready. If you need your puppy held longer, please let us know! After two additional weeks (beyond your pup’s take-home date), a boarding fee of $20 per day may apply—but only on a case-by-case basis.

13. Your experience matters
If anything doesn’t feel right during your experience, tell us. Your satisfaction—and your puppy’s happiness—is our top priority.

14. Health guarantee (serious cases only)
If your puppy is diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic condition expected to significantly shorten their lifespan (typically under 5 years) or require extraordinary care, we offer a replacement puppy—no refund.
